My Diana...

Of course she is not mine as in life and now in death she belongs to the world. But her impact on me has been as credible as it has been on everyone who knew her personally.

I traded my Farrah wings for the Diana bang flip.

But we share so much more. A love of all people especially the desire to protect those less priviledge than ourselves.

Our style and sense of clothes.... When I look back on the early styles I cringe to think of wearing colors that were wrong for me like maroon and a peplum on a suit - but our style got more elegant and more mature (thank you, Lord) and I borrowed her stylist and began to find clothes that I wore instead of 'them' wearing me.

Pepole ask me - your Grandmother wore Chanel, Mainboucher, Norrell - you must have gotten your taste from her? Well my Mother wore de la Renta and Halston but it was Valetino mixed with Gap from Diana. The idea to mix fashion with elegance and comfort and not be afriad to put on a pair of flats with a suit.

I also hope I copied some of her other traits, that accessability and waremth. That responsibility to work everyday and to include the world into my own little sphere.

Now that I have lost my Diane
There's no plan as to where to go
It was hard to lose my Diane
Now I just miss her so

Do you think of me, my Diane
Or have you forgotten me?
Did you think that you were chained down
And now that you are free

Everything is wrong and nothing is right
I want you back with all of my might
Shadows hanging over my head
I love you Diane I miss you Diane

I've got sunshine
On a cloudy day.
When it's cold outside,
I've got the month of May.

Well, I guess you'll say
What can make me feel this way?
My girl. (My girl, my girl)
Talkin' 'bout my girl. (My girl)

I've got so much honey
The bees envy me.
I've got a sweeter songThan the birds in the trees.

Well, I guess you'll say
What can make me feel this way?
My girl. (My girl, my girl)
Talkin' 'bout my girl. (My girl)

I don't need no money,
Fortune or fame.
I've got all the riches, baby,
One man can claim.

Well, I guess you'll say
What can make me feel this way?
My girl. (My girl, my girl)
Talkin' 'bout my girl. (My girl)

Talkin' bout my girl.
I've got sushine on cloudy day
With my girl.
I've even got the month of May
With my girl.

A fascinating discussion is definitely worth comment. I do think that you need to write more on this subject matter, it might not
be a taboo matter but generally people don't discuss these topics.
To the next! All the best!!
