Camelot!

It's true!
It's true!
The crown has made it clear.
The climate must be perfect all the year.
A law was made a distant moon ago here:
July and August cannot be too hot.
And there's a legal limit to the snow here
In Camelot.

In Camelot.
The winter is forbidden till December
And exits March the second on the dot.
By order, summer lingers through SeptemberIn Camelot.

In Camelot.
Camelot!
Camelot!
I know it sounds a bit bizarre,
But in Camelot,
Camelot
That's how conditions are.
The rain may never fall till after sundown.
By eight, the morning fog must disappear.
In short, there's simply not
A more congenial spot
For happily-ever-aftering than here
In Camelot.

Camelot!

Camelot!

I know it gives a person pause,

But in Camelot, Camelot

Those are the legal laws.

The snow may never slush upon the hillside.

By nine p.m. the moonlight must appear.

In short, there's simply not

A more congenial spot

For happily-ever-aftering than here

In Camelot.

i carry your heart....

My husband has been going through much stress -

When I look at him I always think about one of my favorite poems by ee cummings -

Because I carry his heart - and he carries mine -

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)

and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

Sweet Dancer...

I am happiest dancing - even after all these years - there is peace in the whirl of turning around and around like a wild gypsy - there is structure -

And structure is necessary in a world of chaos, when everything goes haywire.

Like Cassie in "Chorus Line" there only has to be the music, the mirror and me.

There is no thinking of outside thoughts in the studio, on the stage. There is just spot,

Sweet Dancer

by William Butler Yeats

The girl goes dancing there
On the leaf-sown, new-mown, smooth
Grass plot of the garden;
Escaped from bitter youth,

Escaped out of her crowd,
Or out of her black cloud.

Ah, dancer, ah, sweet dancer!

If strange men come from the house

To lead her away, do not say

That she is happy being crazy

Lead them gently astray;

Let her finish her dance,

Let her finish her dance.

Ah, dancer, ah, sweet dancer!

Oh well...beauty fades...

Recently I was told I can't even have elective surgery - that I had so many complications a year ago - it would be a bad risk to take -

I asked my kind surgeon "What about a face lift, I would love to have a face lift!"

He told me no, then I found these pictures and I guess I look okay without one -
